Your syllogism is flawed because it commits the Undistributed Middle error. ... No it doesn't.  ... Specifically, Illicit Minor. That's more like it.  But the fallacy of Illicit Minor is a _different_ fallacy from that of an Undistributed Middle, not a special case of it. But does that mean that, in other situations, you DON'T think the Universe is evidence for God? Does that mean that your answers to such straight-forward questions about evidence are dependent on who might be asking? If you don't REALLY think that the Universe is evidence for God, Mike, and that was just a means to appease that particular individual, what WOULD you claim is evidence for God? If you do really think that the Universe is evidence for God, Mike, then your reply to me claiming that specific application was evasive, disingenous and evasive, wasn't it? And so, you DO think the Universe is evidence for God, and my question how so remains unanswered. How 'bout it, Mike? Are you actually interested in discussion?  Or was all of that whining you directed at me this morning just so much more evasion?

Normally, changing the thread _title_ ( Name For This Creationist Fallacy in this case) is a vicious habit, but this subject is off-topic for the original thread, anyway.
