I found a shop that caters to nursing moms and women who have had mastectomies, and they were able to find a bra in my size (at one time a 44 somewhere between an I and an L! I didn't know anybody's ever got that big.) I never liked them because they didn't offer as much support as a regular bra. Now that my son's almost 3 and nearly through nursing I went back to the Goddess regular bra I had been wearing, the kind with the satin cups that have a floral pattern. My nursing and regular bras cost around $40 to $50 each. Call the lactation consultants at the mat
ernity hospitals in your area and see if they have a shop they regularly refer their patients to. The one in our area is run by sweet little old ladies who know how to fit your bra (you probably don't wear the size you think you do! In my case, band size was lower and cup size higher than I thought.) Even if you have to drive a bit, it is worth it to be fitted. After getting a well-fitting bra recently, my back and neck pain is much better!A BIG PROBLEM....OMGMessage #17: A BIG PROBLEM....OMG Posted by: PrincessAnika Date: Dec 13, 2009.have you tried
www.bravadodesigns.com ? they are nursing bras, super comfy and supportive and larger sized....not sure how large they go though.A BIG PROBLEM....OMGMessage #18: A BIG PROBLEM....OMG Posted by: heatherbaby09 Date: Dec 13, 2009.<
pI can relate to the boobs and the weight issues too. I have no idea what my current correct bra size is and I am afraid to find out. They are HUGE!!!!! I am just shoving into a sports bra and dealing. I went clothes shopping the other day and I am a size 20!!! the smallest I have ever been was a 10 right after my first son. Before I got pregnant with my first my boobs were a C then after they were a D, after my second son DD or DDD, bigger after DD and bigger now. I breast feed with each of my kids for at least a month. I hate my body and struggle with it. My DH also is over weight and he struggles even more than I do. Unfortunately from my experience my boobs do go down some after quitting breast feeding but are larger then pre prego. I have just tried to not worry about what others think and be happy with myself. It is hard.Parenting: 3 to 6-Month-Oldscold feet?Initial Message Posted by: 3boysmom1981 Date: Dec 13, 2009.We finally did away with the swaddle so I've been putting DS3 down for the night in a fleece sleeper. When I go in to change his diaper in the middle of the night his body feels warm but his feet seem absolutely freezing. He's not a fan of the sleep sack so I was thinking of putting socks on under his sleeper but that just doesn't seem like it would be comfortable. Anyone else have a cold-footed baby?cold feet?cold feet?Message #1: cold feet? Posted by: scperdomo Date: Dec 13, 2009.DS has always seemed warm to me, but he never seems to be uncomfortable. DH is hot, literally, like his body feels hotter than normal so I wouldn't really be surprised if DS takes after him. Sorry I wasn't really any help, I wouldn't really be
too concerned, if he has on the footie sleepers, how cold can his feet really be if they're covered? idk....cold feet?Message #2: cold feet? Posted by: cristaro3 Date: Dec 13, 2009.I do!!! No matter what I do I can't keep her feet warm. She ALWAYS has socks on under her jammies and she never seems uncomfortable. So far I haven't found a cure for my cold footed baby but if I do I will let you know! cold feet?Message #3: cold feet? Posted by: Jle21 Date: Dec 13, 2009.Yup. I actually put socks on over top of her sleeper... sometimes underneath.DH/Sleep ventDH/Sleep ventMessage #2: DH/Sleep vent Posted by: scperdomo Date: Dec 13, 2009.Thanks! I really needed to hear that. I try not to "rub it in" that I know DS more than he does because I know how I would feel if the tables were turned. DH doesn't get to spend nearly as much time with DS that he wants to and I know that hurts him, but at the same time, when I tell him how to do something concerning DS, it really irritates me when it seems like he has to do the complete opposite to try and prove he knows what hes doing. Of course "his way" almost always doesn't work. He doesn't have to do it exactly the way I do, but DS is used to things happening a certain way and he is used to a certain schedule, he should absolutely put his own spin on it but still keep the original integrity. I won't go off again, I know many of you know how I feel. It felt good to get that out and thanks for listening.he poped the questionhe poped the questionMessage #9: he poped the question Posted by: elegi23 Date: Dec 13, 2009.Yay! That is so sweet! My little man has been eating 4 or 5 ounces of baby food at a time lately so i don't know if tablespoons would be enough... but that's a great suggestion... i never would have thought about that!Ice cube trays and BPAMessage #3: Ice cube trays and BPA Posted by: mar81
Date: Dec 13, 2009.Like pp said, I wouldnt get too worried about it. But, I got "Baby Cubes" from Babies r us. They are kinda like icecube trays, but hold 2 ounces, have lids, are microwave and dishwasher safe, no BPA etc. They are 9.99, but you are storing at least twice as much food. Just a thought - oh and BRU will ship free.LilBlonde734LilBlonde734Message #2: LilBlonde734 Posted by: molly88888 Date: Dec 13, 2009.I emailed her a few days ago! I posted it on the other boards because i thought most that knew her had moved up. Baby Taylor is a thriving happy 6 month old Spite of a few scares with the shunt, everything on the scans has been positive.. I know mom is also adjusting to being a single mom, as all this was just to stressf
ul on the marrige..but she seems positive and happy that all the tension is gone, and is focusing on Taylor, and being happy again. All is well..LilBlonde734Message #3: LilBlonde734 Posted by: Jle21 Date: Dec 13, 2009.Thanks for the update.Parenting: 3 to 6-Month-OldsMIL "annoyance"Initial Message Posted by: scperdomo Date: Dec 13, 2009.I feel like I've done a lot of venting this weekend! lol DH and I went over to hang out with some friends last night. DH's son went with MIL to a Christmas play, they were going to get done before we got home and SS was going to have to hang out for a couple hours by himself. He will be in high school next year, this isn't a big deal. The entire time we are over there SS and MIL are blowing up C
