Ugh!Bedrest! Ugh!Message #3: Bedrest! Ugh! Posted by: Landers08 Date: Dec 19, 2009.I am 26 weeks pregnant and at the hospital on bedrest because i have no cervixs and dilated 1cm so i am here until 34 weeks atleast or until the baby is born whichever comes first hoping the 34 weeks come first even though i want to go home to be with my family she i s better off inside baking then out.Pregnancy: 3rd TrimesterBREAST FEEDING:Initial Message Posted by: swenke Date: Dec 19, 2009.was reading another question and it raised a question of my own. i want to breast feed and pump, but on the other question someone said you need the right size shield? can you breast feed and pump if you have little nipples?Come on LO...Lets get a move on!Initial Message Posted by: jkovachie Date: Dec 19, 2009.So I'm due today and there is absolutely no evidence that my LO wants to make her appearance any time soon. I am getting so anxious to meet her. I would love for her to be here before Christmas, but I'm not even sure if that is going to happen now. At this stage I honestly do not care one bit if I am in the hospital on Christmas Day, just as long as my LO arrives soon! So LO, listen up, mommy and daddy are ready to meet you. Come on! herpes and pregnancyherpes and pregnancyMessage #2: herpes and pregnancy Posted by: ang_30 Date: Dec 19, 2009.I have HSV-2 as well and will be induced on my 39th week to check if I have any outbreaks so I can deliver Vaginally because my DOC recommended that I do a C-section at first but after uch researching, I told her that I would prefer not to do a C-Section and thats why she is going to check to make sure I am ok to deliver instead. It's your body and if you want whats best for your baby, you should talk to your OB/GYN and demand that they check you before you go into labor b ecause once your water breaks and if you have shedding, the baby will still be at risk getting it through C-Section. Better being safe than sorry. HTH and let me know the outcome herpes and pregnancyMessage #3: herpes and pregnancy Posted by: ang_30 Date: Dec 19, 2009.Oh....one more thing.... If you have an outbreak after you aqre 36 weeks, you will have no choice but to get a C-Section because again, your LO will be at higher risk of getting it. So whether you have the baby at 38, 39 or 40 weeks, if you have an outbreak, it take almost 3 weeks for it to clear with shedding.Pregnancy: 3rd TrimesterImportant

Those are things that no one really thinks of, but you will most likely need. A lot of moms also like to have little mittens so LO do esn't scratch their face. More than 1 pacifier if you are planning to use one because LO might not like the first one you try. I was given the option though and with Christmas so close and being 39 weeks and 5 days on Monday, I really just want her out and to be home by Christmas. I also didnt want her B-Day to be ON Christmas, ya know? But I had wanted to go into labor naturally as well... I have had some contractions lately so it might still happen before then I guess....but not getting my hopes up... It will all be ok and I just can't wait to meet my bab y girl in 2 DAYS!!!!!! I am nervous about getting pitocin...hoping that the cervadil and breaking my water will jump-start things with-out the pitocin. I hear its harder contractions but a quicker labor...just hope it doesn't result in a C-section or something. Anyways...good luck and happy B-day in advance to both our baby girls!!!!!Maternity-itisMaternity-itisMessage #5: Maternity-itis Posted by: Kelseyloxton Date: Dec 19, 2009.I am being induced on Monday...but was told to come into the hospital Sunday night... Hang in there, it's fustrating but we can do it. I'm sorry your DH is a real downer. I hope that someday he realizes what you're going through! You're doing a great job, stay strong!!HBP 2nd day of bed restMessage #2: HBP 2nd day of bed rest Posted by: dwaw02 Date: Dec 19, 2009.Lurking...but I was put on bedrest for hbp with my 1st, so I feel your pain. What ended up working for me (and it was 4w for me) was taking my bp often, especially after I did anything. After a few days, I was able to figure out a good activity level for me, and was able to do a little more. Also, it does get easier after the first few days. You get used to the reduced activity, I guess. Anyway, maybe if you can figure it out, you can wrap a couple of presents, then take a break, the wrap a couple of more, etc. Good luck!Pregnancy: 3rd Trimesterlots of pressure/painInitial Message Posted by: mommeeof3 Date: Dec 19, 2009.hi ladies. so last night, after i got out of the shower, i started getting VERY strong pressure into my pelvis and anal pressure. at first, i just attributed it to being in the warm shower and the baby readjusting. it continued sporatically throughout the night. this morning, hubby and i had sex ... and about 2 hours later, the pressure/pain started coming more regularly. i *think* they might be contractions, but these arent like the contractions that i've previously felt during my last 2 pregnanies. most of the pain/tightening is centralized in the lower half of my stomach, closer to my belly button and pelvic bones ... occasionally i'll get completely pain/tightening throughout my entire stomach, but its mostly lower. i h ave SEVERE lower anal pressure ... i feel like i have to go but then nothing happens when i try. just wondering if anyone else has experienced pain/pressure/tightening like this in the lower half and if it really was labor? i'm debating calling the dr, but thought i would ask for some opinions here first.....TIA!lots of pressure/painlots of pressure/painMessage #1: lots of pressure/pain Posted by: fox_rider133 Date: Dec 19, 2009.I am getting the same thing and omg does it hurt! Its like she is trying to break my water! Which I would be stoked! Keep me updated if u talk to your doc!lots of pressure/painMessage #2: lots of pressure/pain Posted by: mommeeof3 Date: Dec 19, 2009.I feel like that too! it feels like shes pushing down and trying to break my water. i was 2cm dialated at my appt on thurs, and now i feel like i am more dialated than that! i'm getting ready to call my dr. pain is coming every 5-8 minutes now!lots of pressure/painMessage #3: lots of pressure/pain Posted by: JenEthan Date: Dec 19, 2009.Wow I'm so jealous Lots of LV coming your way if that's what you guys are experiencing!! Maybe you'll get to bring home the best Christmas present of all just in time for Christmas!lots of pressure/painMessage #4: lots of pressure/pain Posted by: grnidprncs Date: Dec 19, 2009.Hmmmm, with my twins I was walking around a mall feeling like I had to go to the bathroom (#2) what turned out to be about every 4 m inutes..I had NO idea they were contractions...got to the hospital and I was 4cm! I'd call the doc just in case! Good luck and lots of Labor Vibes!!lots of pressure/painMessage #5: lots of pressure/pain Posted by: mommeeof3 Date: Dec 19, 2009.Just talked to the dr on call and he was a complete JERK! i told him about the pain and pressure and that it feels lke contractions ... he tells me "you're not even 36 weeks yet" i said "i know but this feels like contractions" his response? "well you can come in to be monitored if you want" WTH is that?! i cant believe him!! i'm so upset! he was talking to me like a 5 year old who's never had a baby before.OT: Help!! Ear pain!OT: Help!! Ear pain!Message #2: OT: Help!! Ear pain! Posted by: JenEthan Date: Dec 19, 2009.I recently had an ear infection and although I could hear my ear started bleeding. It was so odd. I didn't think it was a big deal because it didn't hurt and I knew I had a cold but my doc said it was extremely important that because we're pregnant not to let things like this get out of control and I needed to go to the ER immediately. So I would say you should head on back to urgent care as soon as you possibly can. Good luck and I hope it gets better!View all discussions at Pregnancy: 3rd TrimesterUse the unsubscribe form to cancel your email sub_script_ion.
