<<For the sake of avoiding confuzzlement, this is a slight BackLog taking place before Siren and Chimera Squadron set out to explore Versailles =/= USS Archer, Main Lounge =/= Jin was a happy little camper, bustling about behind the long bar counter, delving into all sorts of drinks, mixing this, adding a slice of fruit to that, always patiently watched by a mightily amused Seamus. I think ye missed yer calling, lass. the bearded human smirked, pouring a glass of orange juice for a Bolian ensign. Then again, puttin' ya behind a bar every day would be a bit like givin' a monkey the key to the banana plantation. Monkey, huh? Just you wait; I'll start swinging from the rafters here in a minute just to annoy you. Jin snickered and then cocked her head Would have to install rafters first. You think they would look nice with the general décor? Ha' you had yer nose in the rum again, lass? Seamus shook his head as the little Efrosian darted towards another patron, presenting the Andorian lady with a dangerous looking blue cocktail. At least it didn't have no Deltan Blue in it, he had locked that one safely away. One near miss was enough for the next . oh ten years or so. Just a snootful to keep the old vocal chords moistened. Jin replied gravely, imitating Seamus' Killarney accent nearly to perfection, which caused the tall human to break into another round of laughter. At the sound of an argument erupting by one of the tables though, his sparkling green eyes very quickly narrowed and he drew himself up to his quite impressive height. NO shoutin' unless yer want to be shown the door, lads. What now? Jin frowned, climbing up onto the polished wood of the counter. Hey, I haven't given those guys anything but synthehol. They were already blended when they walked in. A burly Tellarite seemed quite unhappy with the Andorian who stood in front of the table, leaning on his fists. Each of them had a host of pals edging them on, but what worried Jin just a little was how far the blue guy's antennae were leaning backwards, nearly pressing against his white hair. Oh shit. Even before the blow connected with the Tellarite's snout, Jin was bouncing off the bar, using another table to gain more momentum. And as soon as the poor guy squealed and was flung backwards, the Andorian made the acquaintance of barely 100 pounds of Efrosian. Considering same Efrosian had attacked at a good angle and speed, and Mr blueskin was inebriated to boot, it was just enough to make him land flat on his back, a tiny knee pressing against his ribs. But before Jin could decide what to do next, she was bodily lifted into the air by a firm but not unkind grip. At first, she struggled a bit, but then a familiar scent seemed to waft towards her nose. Big Klingon Captain? No, different. But Klingon alright. Gods of Efros, how many of the funny guys - correction, this one smelled like a lady-Klingon - did they have on board? Excuse me, would you mind putting me down? I'm not a piece of laundry, you know? Karina had been watching she hadn't planned on getting involved until the child size Efrosian had come sailing into the picture. Funny little one you were nearly crushed like that 'piece of laundry' you called yourself. she growled motioning to the chair that had been throw in her direction while she was thinking of what next to do. Karina put the other woman down so that she could use that same fist to knock out someone coming at her. Well looks like you got me involved shall we teach them some manners little one? Karina asked with a bit of a smirk... By all means, seeing as you probably could clean up this mess all by your lonesome. Jin snickered as she was lowered onto the floor. So much for me trying to stop that fight though. She ducked out of the way of an enthusiastically thrown table and watched the tall lady shift her weight just a little to avoid the thing grazing her. Damn, she was good. Security then, not engineering. That, and the fact Jin was now sure she could discern the scent of the gigantic CO, finally kicked her brain into gear and the little pilot came to the conclusion she was looking at none other than Korath's lady friend. Oh boy, some of the people in here would be hurting pretty soon. Not that they seemed to mean any major harm, the sounds of their voices were more cheerfully aggressive than all out hostile. A yodeling Bolian ran past Jin, waving his fists at some human or other, and Jin nonchalantly stuck out a foot, sending the guy crashing onto the carpet. Whoops that's going to be a nasty bruise. Karina snarled She really did need to work off some frustration it seemed. However she'd keep the bloodshed to a minimum knowing that Korath would be none too pleased if she accidently killed anyone. However she couldn't just let them make a mess could she? One of those involved in the fight lifted a chair against her. She rolled her eyes and with one hand held the chair with the other broke the man's nose with as little strength as she could or risk sending some of those small bones into his cerebellum which wouldn't be a good thing. Oh sorry did that hurt? She asked with not even an ounce of actually sounding sorry. Maybe you should go see the doctor. She shrugged and put the chair down and out of the way ducking as someone else swung a bottle of liquor at her. She grabbed his wrist. That's not blood wine so I'm assuming you meant to attack someone else? She asked with a cold growl emanating from her voice... The drunk shook his head. Good didn't think so. She grabbed another sneaking up on the little Efrosian who was dealing with another and knocked heads together time for your nap... She growled. Gods of Efros, that HAD to have hurt. Let me guess, we got all the other security officers only because you can't be everywhere at the same time? Jin chuckled when she saw an annoyed Seamus grab two scuffling crewmen by the collars and toss them out the door, right into the waiting arms of two more security guys, obviously summoned by the barkeep who _object_ed to having his place demolished by some happy-go-lucky brawlers. The Klingon lady's growl alone was enough to make more than a few people back of and drop whatever they'd been holding in their hands to the floor, exhibiting the age old look of 'Chair? What chair? Oh, you mean THAT busted chair. I only wanted to clean that mess up, honest'. But a few were drunk enough not to care, or not to realize what was happening until it was too late. Just as the little Efrosian successfully ducked under the cranky Tellarite, sending the astonished male to the floor with a well aimed kick, she saw another crewman sailing towards the doors. Nice aim. Jin peeked up at the growling Klingon and grinned You deliver them, they sort out the bones and take them away? Talk about effective work distribution. Something like that, how many more are there? Karina asked daring someone else to step forward and give her some kind of challenge. She was still recovering from her holodeck experience so she wasn't at her best really but this was kind of pathetic... She did notice her hand was bleeding again and sighed nothing like a wound she received from a hologram to act up when the real thing couldn't even touch her... Judging from the way they're scrambling . none. Jin snickered. Seamus was standing by the door, shoving the last few roughed up patrons into the waiting arms of security, while some medical personnel was waving tricorders, sorting out the one's they wanted to take care of first. All in all, the Klingon lady and the big Irish man had sorted the little issue more or less alone, and the Efrosian pilot was suitably impressed. Here, let me take a look at that. Seamus is going to throw a fit if you bleed all over his carpet. He's already chewing on his beard because now he'll have to go and fix those tables. Did you know he makes them himself? No replicated stuff. Jin gently tugged at the large Klingon's sleeve, steering the lady towards the bar where Seamus kept his med kit for the odd little mishap. Like people tripping over their own feet or getting a chair busted across their faces. =/= To be continued =/= Lt Karina Assistant Security (apb Kai) & Lt Jin Voodoo Rha-Yaleii Squadron Commander TDS 241 (Siren Squad) & Seamus O'Dale Barkeep (NPC apb I-Chaya) USS Archer-D
