I don't mean to be a spoil sport....but I think maybe you should buy your mom a new and improved potato peeler. Potato peeler!! ..... Potato peeler?? ... why would anyone want to peel a potato in the first place. Man dear, skins and all, and be thankful. THE PRATIES GROW TO SMALL Anonymous O, the praties they grow small over here, over here. O, the praties they grow small, and they grow from spring to fall, and we eat them skins and all, over here, over here. O, I wish that we were geese, night and morn, night and morn, O, I wish that we were geese, For they fly and take their ease, And they live and die in peace, over here, over here. O, we're trampled in the dust, over here, over here, O, we're trampled in the dust, But the Lord in whom we trust, will give us crumb for crust, over here, over here. Ronnie =====

Cook them!!! ... COOK 'EM??!!!!?? ... you don't mean you cook the damn things as well as peeling them? Blast it all, I could never be Irish. Which reminds me.....I took my boys down on the train to see the St. Patrick's day parade in NYC. 300,000 marchers including Guiliani and Hillary Clinton. My two favorite sights.....men in kilts and men in uniform. I was hoarse from screaming when it was all over with. It snowed on us, cold and wet....and after 5 hours the thing was still going strong (we left because our feet were numb). Irish Wolfhounds, Irish dancers, Irish leagues of every sort. I did not see one single Irish potato. We did, however, have the excitement of young exposed mammary glands by a somewhat sauced parade viewer. See ya, LF

Ronnie ===== I was glad to get to this post. I seem to be reading things all out of order...and LF's comment about Ronnies potato skins was about 40 messages back. I wasn't sure if Fayette had gone over the deep end. Good to know she was oriented in time and space. Tina - the rest of us are just out here floating

Ronnie ===== Low lie the fields of Athenry Where once we watched the small free birds fly Our love was on the wing We had dreams and songs to sing It's so lonely round the fields of Athenry. ====================================
