Hey! Some trikes are extremely cool: check out the Windcheetah recumbent trike designed by Mike Burrows (who also did Chris Boardman's hour record Lotus carbon fibre monocoque aero bike). It is quite possibly my ideal cycle. As an adult you can say that. As an 8 year old, trikes are the lowest of the low in cool , ranking below bikes with stabilisers. Trust me, I had this explained to me by an 8 year old last weekend. I think even an 8yo would find recumbent trikes cool. Err, they aren't exclusivly cool. The homemade recumbent trike a teacher at school had (and used frequently) really didn't have much in the way of _style_. (Other than the hack-value of having made one...)

Mattheq, an Omnipotent Supreme Being who's wondering who else was in Scouts. He was in 3rd Newton I wasn't but only because girls weren't allowed in the scouts in those days (eh, those were the days, etc.) I wasn't in the guides either, although I did go along to one night of the Brownies, but decided not to join because I was sooooo bored. The reason I know some of the songs is because I stood in as a female leader for a scout group that my ex was involved in, whenever they went on camps (1). Loriba (1)I could give you a good rendition of the first episode of 'The Black Knight in Silver Wellies' if you like, but make sure that you have a good hour to spare first.
